Welcome back! Lisa and Jarratt’s lakeside wedding in southern Maryland was a grand family affair full of color and lots of love. If you missed it, be sure to check it out their wedding ceremony overlooking the water here! Once the pair said “I do,” the group moved under a nearby tent to celebrate their wedding reception at the State House at Historic St Mary’s City. In addition to the pretty color palette of coral and turquoise blue, I am obsessed with all of the location-specific wedding day details tucked in below the beautiful florals (a priority for the couple). Lisa and Jarratt even gifted their wedding guests with custom drink koozies and crab knockers, engraved with the bride and groom’s names – perfect for some seasonal fun in southern Maryland! Thank you their wedding planner Trebella Events and their photographer Birds of a Feather Photography for sharing their sweet photos with us!
From the bride: Flowers were a “must” for priority and splurging on our wedding. I think flowers adds so much to the look of a wedding venue. We also wanted to be on the water for our wedding location.
Lisa’s advice for other Washington DC area couples?
My advice is to stay very organized in your wedding planning. Don’t wait until last minute! There is no need in stressing if you don’t have to!
Congratulations to Lisa and Jarratt! Thanks for sharing your colorful tented wedding in Southern Maryland with us!
