We are aways looking for fresh and new ideas for DC area wedding inspiration and when Sonia of Clarity and Class came to us with this beautifully styled shoot we were so excited! Creatively titled “Shattered Glass,” this dreamy pale pink and sea glass aesthetic was birthed out of a desire to blend a modern day wedding with the breathtaking beauty of a South Asian bride. Not only is it stunning, but it also showcases the myriad of ways that couples can blend the cultures and traditions of two families for a multicultural wedding celebration.
We are blown away by the beautifully detailed glass-like cake with silver etching and beading. The idea of shattered glass certainly in personified in this incredibly original cake that we can’t stop ooh-ing and ahh-ing about; we have never seen anything quite like it! Keeping with the glass theme, the hand-lettered sea glass place cards and scripted poem on glass provided an unique and elegant touch to the overall design of the day. All of the intricate details were beautifully captured by Rosie Omar Photography & Novaes Photography to create a delicate, modern garden wedding that celebrated the beauty of a multicultural wedding day.
