Cheerful Westminster Hall Church Wedding
Marc and Laura met after Marc expressed interest in learning about anti-trafficking, the field in which Laura was working. Their first date was filled with hours of laughter and they realized they really had something special today. And the most adorable part of their proposal? An original song! At a family dinner Marc looked at Laura and told her he couldn’t imagine living without her. He then sang an original song and then got down on one knee and proposed. How special is that? Swoon!
For their Maryland church wedding they opted to host their ceremony and reception at Westminster Hall. The church has a restored organ as the focal point and they knew it was the one immediately upon seeing that. They clothed the space in silver, magenta, and lilac. Violet roses in 14 inch glass vases at each table paired perfectly with the votive candle lights and and interior lighting. For their church reception, food, music and photography were at the top of their list. They splurged on a band of trained musicians and vocalists. With their talent, the couple was able to create a beautiful moment for their first dance. The band combined Justin Timberlake and Beyoncé’s “Until the End of Time” with Leela James’ “Fall for you.” It’s these personalized details that really make weddings so unique to each couple. Thank you to Mason Photography for sharing this sweet church wedding.
