Glam DC Mini Wedding
September 7, 2020 Tabitha

It Only Takes Two to Say I Do; as shown in this glam DC Mini Wedding on the stairs of Carnegie Institution of Science. We are on cloud nine to share Shemika and Jerry’s Washington, DC mini wedding. Their ceremony is absolutely stunning and the epitome of classic, modern romance. Although their ceremony looks lovely, it was certainly not what they originally planned. Due to COVID-19, the couple had to find an alternative location to wed because of venue closures. Their planner, Kristy of Stunning Soirees, diligently worked to find a new location and coordinated with vendors to ensure the couple got married on the date they had set their hearts on for over a year. During their smaller affair, a live stream was available for guests not able to be present by Chip Dizard, and beautiful music by a live violinist. The duo vowed to love each other forever in front of their closest family and social distanced friends. The day was not what they envisioned, but it is one they will never forget.

The following DC wedding professionals contributed to this DC mini wedding:

Planner: Stunning Soirees | Photography: Trene Forbes Photography | Videography: C Spot Media | Venue: Carnegie Institution Of Science | Florals: Da Vinci Florist | Beauty: Cambrosia Hair & Beauty with Taylor Simpson Artistry | Officiant: Crystal Johnson | Live Streaming: Chip Dizard Studios | Cake: 512 Dessert | Gown: Betsy Robinson Bridal | Violinist: Marvillous Beats
