Glam University of Maryland Ballroom Wedding
February 18, 2020 Tabitha

We hope you had a great Valentine’s Day weekend! We are kicking off the week with the glam University of Maryland wedding of Jasmine Garry and Jake Layman of the Minnesota Timberwolves. The pair were first introduced while both attending college at the University of Maryland, College Park.  During their college days, Jasmine was a cheerleader and Jake on the basketball team which was the beginning of their love story!  Over the next six years and several moves for Jake’s career their bond grew stronger.  Jake proposed in July of 2018 and they planned their wedding for the following summer at the place where they first met and fell in love. Using rich red roses paired with blush and white, their wedding day was perfect for the elegant ballroom setting. Sparkling linen, twinkling candlelight, and romantic textures layered the Maryland hotel wedding venue, making it feel romantic and anything but cookie cutter. Thank you to Kate Fine Art Photography for sharing their love story with us today.

The following Washington DC wedding professionals contributed to this University of Maryland wedding:
