Today’s Long View Gallery wedding is, in our eyes, the epitome of the term modern classic. The clean, simple color story of all white is not only totally classic for a wedding but really allowed for the art in the gallery to pop which lent to the modern feel overall. The concrete floors and brightly colored art worked perfectly with the mirrored centerpieces and acrylic ghost chairs. Seriously modern vibes there! The Chuppah was crafted with silver poles and monochromatic all white floral garland across the top. Again, so classically modern we’re in love! The bride’s bouquet was made up of all white roses which also fit in nicely with the centerpieces and ceremony floral design.
Mickey and Tori wanted their wedding to feel unique and fun with an urban vibe so guests could experience the city that they love. Great music and delicious food were very important to the couple so they made sure to incorporate some of our fave DC wedding vendors with Spilled Milk Catering, Buttercream Bake Shop and My Deejay - all awesome United with Love vendors!! And as if that wasn’t enough, they couple gave out pop tarts from Ted’s Bulletin as favors! That’s a favor trend we can get behind; give us something edible and we’re good to go! As for personal touches, those could be found in the pieces included in their Jewish wedding ceremony and in their gifts to each other. Tori gave Mickey a pair of custom high-tops which he paired with his tuxedo to dance all night. So cute! We also loved Mickey and Tori’s advice for couples currently planning their wedding: “If it isn’t done the week before your wedding, it’s probably not that important. Also, think about the environmental impact of your wedding and what can be reused and recycled!”
