Christine & Alan’s Baltimore wedding day was on one of the most perfect days of 2018! The sun was shining, it was not too hot, not too cold, and not a chance of rain in the sky. Christine selected a blue and greenery color palette, with a vibrant cerulean blue for her bridesmaids and table linens. The florals were the perfect blend of neutrals and greenery in an undone, organic style for all of the bouquets. The reception space featured a showstopping greenery design arching over the sweetheart table. This unique design was the perfect focal point for the newlyweds in their reception space. Guest tables had either gold geometric lanterns with some loose blooms, or a compote style centerpiece, featuring the same organic look as Christine’s bouquet.
The newlyweds shared their first dance to “I Love You Always Forever”, and the room broke into singing the chorus which was such a fun touch, and the perfect way to get into the party spirit — plus, Christine said this was one of her favorite parts of her wedding day! Guest favors was beer brewed and bottled by Christine’s father, which added a great, personalized touch to the day. The custom illustration on the bottles’ labels was also featured on their save the dates. Other homages throughout the wedding was to their love of Baltimore, including their cake topper and signature drink, Duckpin beer brewed in Baltimore. The newlyweds were sent off with a bubble exit and departed the next day to their honeymoon in South Africa! Thank you to SRS Events for sharing this vibrant blue wedding with us today!
How did you meet and how did he propose? We grew up in the same hometown and have similar friend groups but didn’t meet until after we both moved away. He actually asked me on a date several times before I said yes! Alan proposed on a trip to California at Big Sur. We had been dating 5 years at that point so I knew it was coming eventually, but he still managed to surprise me…mostly. He was acting very strange while we were exploring Big Sur and told me later he was trying to scout out the best spot. He found it!
