Today’s masquerade ball inspired wedding shoot is elegant, sexy, and a little edgy. The color palette of black, champagne, and mauve reflect a stunning color contrast that we are so here for. It’s a twist on the classic black tie wedding inspiration we see so often. From the intricate detail of the butterfly laced wedding cake, to the branches dancing out from the centerpieces, this mysterious and beautiful styled shoot by Linda Wright of Keynote Events, LLC captivates the meaning of intentional.
The modern tablescape has an elegant look to it and is also something that could be re-created by many couples for their special day. In order to maintain an air of lightness, the black pulled in on this wedding table is done through the details; black chairs, water glasses, and candle holders pair perfectly with the unique, modern menus and really allowed the colorful centerpieces to pop. We love that they are “slightly electric, but not over the top” per the designer. The dark cake is definitely a showstopper and is so unique; you don’t see many black wedding cakes but we love what it is doing for the overall moody design aesthetic! The small cakelets are a fun treat as well, and you can never go wrong with a macaron.
