Apple Studded Virginia Barn Wedding
April 29, 2019 Alex Hamilton

Matt and Erin planned their apple studded Virginia barn wedding in only four months, but you would never know it based on their attention to detail and incredible taste. They got ready with the help of their parents, and then shared an emotional first look where they read each other’s handwritten letters.

Everyone enjoyed the beautiful fall wedding with a sun set over the mountains; some luck guests even got to greet the horses at Foxchase Farm! Their intimate outdoor ceremony was held under an incredible floral arch created by Stem and Thistle. Following their ceremony, guests moved indoors for the remainder of the evening. Stunning fall colored floral details and pops of apples filled the barn as an ode to their fall wedding day and also to where Erin grew up, Winchester Virginia. Erin even had an apple in her bouquet, with the date of their wedding written on it in calligraphy! Such a unique and personal touch that we are loving!

The rest of the night was filled with dinner and dancing, ending with Matt and Erin cutting their “apple pie” in lieu of cutting a piece of cake. Thank you to Klaire Dixius for sharing this Virginia wedding with us today.
