Julie and Dan met on Bumble. While he was stationed at the Pentagon for work, Julie would often run into him there; she had clients also at the Pentagon. How perfect is that?! Julie knew Dan was the one from the beginning! When it came to their romantic Arena Stage wedding they wanted a clean, modern, elegant look. For their color palette they went with dusty rose, greys, and greenery.
The couple also chose to incorporate a pop of red as a nod to Julie’s Chinese heritage. These red touches can be found in their lounge area and dance floor, cake table, and on the menus. The Chinese symbol for marriage can be found holding up the menus as well; the double symbol means unity. To incorporate a piece of Dan’s heritage, they did a surprise Ukrainian dance at the reception that had all of the guests laughing!
