The concept behind today’s 1960’s bridal inspiration was the planner’s parents wedding. How sweet is that? Raelyn of Beyond Decor by Rae was infatuated by the design, paper goods, wedding dresses, and desserts from their wedding album. We think today’s wedding inspiration not only introduces young bride’s and grooms to the possibilities of something elegant and timeless while also creating nostalgia for those planning a 50th wedding celebration.
To follow the dreamy, vintage wedding details soft dusty tones of pinks and lavenders were used. Gorgeous blush peonies, dusty pink faith roses, dusty lavender amnesia roses, helebores, lace cap hydrangeas, sarrencenia lilies, lisianthus and assorted foliages filled the bouquets. The same soft color tones of dusty pinks and lavender were featured on the dining table. Pops of dark plum also make an appearance to break things up a bit. A rose swirl linen, a mix of silver and gold metallic decor items along with candles completed the table top. And don’t miss the salt and paper shakers. They have been in the photographer’s family for over 60 years!
