Maggie and Ryan wanted to host their 2017 wedding at the Congressional Country Club because of Maggie’s longtime family connection to the club. It felt like home to them. They also love Christmas time so they knew that was the perfect time of year to host an amazing party for their friends and family. However, they wanted the look and feel to be a little non-traditional for the time of year. We think they nailed it. The final result was a Maryland winter wedding with a warm, inviting feel.
They used a palette of grey, silvers and gold, deep green, cream/ivory and neutrals. The look was an elegant yet modern rustic day, intimate and warm; an inviting woodsy winter vibe. Add in an amazing band, an indoor fake snow cannon, and an incredibly decadent dessert bar. We definitely wished we were guests at this one! Thank you to Ivy and Honor for sharing this beautiful wintery Congressional Country Club wedding with us today!
