Caroline and Josh were married at Mount Ida Farm in Scottsville, Virginia on a snowy day in December. The dusting of snow that fell was perfect for the day and made everything look like a winter wedding of our dreams. Caroline wore a custom Anne Barge taffeta ball gown with 3/4 length lace sleeves, that just radiates winter bride. We seriously couldn’t get enough of it. The off the shoulder detail is so chic and on trend, while remaining completely timeless. The bridesmaids wore floor-length black taffeta gowns by Alfred Sung which only added to the classic wedding design.
Every perfectly planned detail from this Virginia wedding day fit the overall aesthetic flawlessly. From the plaid pocket squares in the groom and groomsmen’s tuxes, to the sprigs of fresh pine in the bouquets, this winter wedding was meant to be snow-kissed with all of it’s elegant, wintery details! Thank you to Kathryn Ivy Photography for sharing this winter wonderland wedding with us today!
