Today we have a beautiful Maryland private estate wedding for everyone! Keep reading, you don’t want to miss it! Kate and Jason are both surgical residents at the University of Pennsylvania, and they first met at the start of Jason’s intern year in the hospital’s cafeteria. Flash forward to a year later, the two were both attending a bike and beer crawl with friends. Kate admitted to a friend she had a crush on Jason. A week later they were on their first date, and Jason knew he had found someone he couldn’t live without. After a year and a half together Jason chose an engagement ring for Kate. He was far too excited to hold onto her new ring, so Jason proposed once he walked through the door of the home they shared together in Philadelphia with Kate’s dog (her other loyal companion!).
When they started planning their wedding, Kate’s father’s property in Maryland immediately came to mind. Kate’s father has lived there for 20 years, and she has so many fond memories. Plus, Jason fell in love with the property too.
In order to allow the property to take center stage, they focused on incorporating shades of ivory, green, and gold into the color palette. The florals were the perfect place to begin. The ivory and greenery bouquets carried by the bride and her bridesmaids look beautiful when paired with the bridesmaids’ pink, purple, and ivory gowns. We especially loved the floral chandelier designed by Beautiful Blooms that hung over the dance floor. Talk about a statement piece! Thank you to The Styled bride for sharing this gorgeous Maryland wedding with us today.
