Jessica and Ariel wanted to have their friends and loved ones join them to celebrate their marriage in their favorite city: Washington, DC. When looking for venues, they loved the industrial and open space of Dock5 in DC’s Union Market neighborhood; not to mention it is conveniently only a few short blocks away from their home. They chose greenery and a mixture of copper and gold metallic wedding decor. We love the urban jungle vibe that played into their overall aesthetic. It is so unique yet so fitting for the space. The couple opted not to have a wedding party, but honored their families by having them walk down the aisle; family members also toasted the newlyweds during the DC reception.
Guests enjoyed a fall buffet and then the DC Slices food truck showed up for a late night snack. Late night snacks are some of our very favorite things! What could be better after a little drinkin’ and dancin’ then some yummy junk food. A pizza food truck definitely hits the spot.
