The inspiration for Kayla and Gavin’s wedding truly began with the venue. When they went to see Woodlawn Manor House for the first time, there was a band playing “Here Comes The Sun”. That song had always been the one that Kayla wanted playing as she walked down the aisle; it was at that moment that they knew that it was their perfect outdoor wedding venue. From there, they chose to keep everything light, bright, and airy for their countryside Woodlawn Estate wedding.
Kayla and Gavin were married under a 100-year-old tree overlooking the Potomac River during a sweet ceremony that was officiated by a friend of the family. The soft and romantic tone of their Maryland rustic wedding was accented with summer colors of lavender and white. For their florals they opted for all white flowers with accents of cascading greenery; a combination that will never go out of style in our books. The crisp, classic white wedding decor made the whole day feel light and fun. Thanks to Amanda Adams Photography for sharing this Woodlawn Estate wedding with us today.
