Despite the chilly weather during these Maryland engagement photos, Evan and Jordan look adorable and so in love. Evan and Jordan met 7 years ago after his family moved in next door to hers. After meeting him, Jordan says she knew he would be the man she’d marry. Their relationship started off with Evan giving Jordan horseback riding lessons and from there, a friendship blossomed. That friendship grew over the next two years and in August of 2013 while they were both attending Campbell University they started dating. According to Jordan, their relationship has been filled with love, endless memories, adventures, laughter, horses, and polocrosse. What could be better than that?! Thank you to the pair’s DC wedding photographer, Penny of Becoming Images for sharing this Sotterly Plantation outdoor engagement session with us today.
What is your proposal story? Evan proposed on November 24, 2017 (black friday). We decided to take a trip and drove that morning from Connecticut to New York City. After arriving Evan suggested taking a walk through Central Park since I had never been before. We stopped to listen to a guitar player who was singing some of my favorite songs at Turtle Pond. We sat and listened for a while. Once “Johnny and June” ended, we went up to give him a tip. I was in the process of asking Evan for some money and when I turned around I found my best friend down on one knee asking me to spend forever with him. We got to celebrate our engagement that day in the Big Apple!
