There are so many things to love in today’s bright and airy Birkby House wedding. Throughout the photos from Rachel and Blake’s Leesburg wedding, it is so clear that these two are completely in love. The sheer job and happiness that radiates from the two of them is so present. Case and point is their first look. Blake’s reaction is total #goals. And how cute are they together? We also adore the mismatched bridesmaids dresses that seemed to fit each gal’s personality. Pro Tip: Letting your bridesmaids choose their own gowns can make them feel more comfortable and although it might be your day, it is important that your friends and family feel comfortable. Don’t believe us? Look at these ladies. Comfort and relaxation abounds. Your photos will look amazing when everyone is feeling their best!
The pair were wed at St. Johns the Apostle Catholic Church before heading over to Birkby house for a sweet reception full of clean white lines, pops of pink and accents of gold. Some of our favorite small details include the naked cake with hot pink roses, their Virginia shaped guest book (we love a unique guest book!) their dessert bar, and the bride’s reception dress. Changing into a second dress to party the night away is always an fun option. Thank you to Bri & Wes Photography for sharing this fun Birkby House wedding with us today.
