Elegant Gray & Blush Wedding Inspiration
April 24, 2018 Alex Hamilton

Strong Mansion, nestled on top of Sugarloaf Mountain in Dickerson Maryland is one of the most beautiful historic venues in the area. The grounds and the stunning stone mansion magically transport you to a château in Loire Valley in France. If you’re looking for a jaw dropping Maryland wedding venue, this is it. This romantic inspirational shoot captures the essence and beauty of a nontraditional approach to modern elegance. When we saw today’s elegant gray and blush wedding inspiration we immediately knew we wanted to feature it. And why is that? Well, first of all, just look at BOTH of the dresses. Yes, both. Keep reading!

The first dress is white while the second is a light gray. The traditional white wedding gown displays cascading embroidery on the bodice. Worn as a two-piece and free flowing around her body, we love the full skirt and the lace top together. The inspiration for the second gray gown came from a nontraditional approach to modern elegance. The delicate embroidered and handcrafted floral applique draped on the bodice contrasted the ebony skin of the beautiful bride. The crystals beaded on top of each flower allow the bride to radiate in a pure light and shine on her special day. And check out that skirt! The high low cut is just fabulous! We are swooning over it in every. single. frame.

Not to be overshadowed by the killer gowns, the tablescape and floral decor holds their own in this styled wedding shoot. The centerpiece was a large display of roses, hydrangea, and eucalyptus as well as touches of blush, mauve, and red. The added sparkle of the runner and the vintage touches on the plates is modern elegance to the max. Thank you to Andrea Rodway Photography for sharing this lovely bridal inspiration with us via Matchology.

Beautiful pictures, love the colors used and the make-up is so fresh and light looking. Great job on the bride’s face.
