How much did you love yesterdays Galentines Party inspiration from Lisa Blume Photography? I cant believe it’s already February and we are that much closer to warmer weather! Bring on the warm DC Spring weddings please! Today we have an intimate look at Sara and Jacob’s cozy winter DC elopement wedding with Elizabeth M Photography. From the brides simple sweater and tulle skirt, to their sheer joy in portraits, it goes to show that you don’t need the fanfare to have an exceptional wedding! Love truly is all you need. The couple decided to have an intimate elopement wedding to focus on sharing the experience and ceremony privately together. They both loved the idea of having this secret. It was important for them to embrace it together before telling family and friends. Having an intimate wedding kept the emphasis on why they wanted to get married and the relationship they share.
Following their DC courthouse ceremony, Sara and Jacob joined their photographer for photos on the waterfront and spent the day enjoying each others company. We love how they still incorporated traditions such as a grooms boutonniere and the brides fluffy pink bouquet from Love and Luster Floral Design! Congrats to the newlyweds! Make sure to check back next week as we have another lovely week of DC wedding inspiration!
