Shannon and Oscar’s intimate Epic Yoga DC wedding could not be more beautiful. And they have a cute story to boot! The two met while working at WJFK radio station in Washington. When they met Oscar was the on air personality Big O from Big O and Dukes; Shannon was doing promotions for the morning show. From getting engaged at the top of the historic Washington monument to having their intimate ceremony and reception at Epic Yoga Studio on Connecticut Avenue they are a true DC love story!
First look photos including the couple’s new puppy Santos, brilliantly captured by Barbara O Photography, took place at the rooftop of the Kimpton Mason & Rook Hotel in Washington, DC. Look at how adorable that little face is! All the heart eyes for that guy! Ivory and blush seasonal blooms with accents of eucalyptus foliage made up the bride’s gorgeous vintage styled bouquet.
The ceremony took place in one of the yoga studio rooms with exposed brick and soft lighting; we love how this created a whimsical yet romantic mood. A white trellis-like backdrop accented with greenery completed the ceremony look. Post ceremony, guests were treated to gourmet cuisine from Well Dunn Catering in addition to their three tiered Lou Lous Cakery cake. The dessert was complete with sugar peaches, as the bride and groom refer to each other as “peach.” Doesn’t that just make you say “awww”?! Thank you to ARJ Productions for sharing this romantic DC wedding with us today!
