We are feeling so wonderfully recharged after our week off with family! Before the craziness of the fall wedding season begins in the DMV and schools are back in session, we ducked away to sunny Florida for a week with the big mouse himself! Thank you to Alex for holding down the fort for me while I played and I am so excited to be back to share a new week of beautiful DC wedding ideas and inspiration!
Today we kick off with a romantic garden inspired Oatlands House wedding by Emily Marie Photography. Kallie and Ryan were married in June, and knew the moment they saw Oatlands, it was the ideal setting to host their special day. Weaving an enchanted purple color story throughout the rustic chic décor, the couple wanted to incorporate the gardens and spring tones already found around the historic Leesburg wedding venue. The owls found in the table numbers and fun décor elements was a tribute to the couples history; a pair of pewter owl goblets that they shared in dating which became a “thing” between them. Thank you to Emily Marie Photography for sharing their garden inspired Oatlands House wedding with us today!
