Glam Willard DC Ballroom Wedding
July 26, 2017 Tabitha

When most couples dream up their idea of a ballroom wedding, they think of fluffy tall floral centerpieces and glittering chandeliers in a more traditional luxe style. But not Leigh and Gabe; they wanted organic greens, succulents, unique textures, and shapes to adorn their Willard DC wedding design. The couple were married in front of 250 friends and family members at the Cathedral of Saint Matthew the Apostle before moving the party to the famed DC wedding venue hotel.

We loved the unique centerpieces of wood, succulents, and stemmed candle holders by Blue Vanda Designs. By playing with candle light and floral appliqué specialty linens, the design was able to merge the more unique organic centerpiece elements with the traditional ballroom perfectly. Leigh wore a stunning Berta Gown, while her bridesmaids wore convertible bridesmaid dresses that made dancing all night a breeze! You wont want to miss this beautiful affair and thank you to Ethan Yang Photography for sharing this wedding with us today!
