Jessica and Shane’s Maryland wedding day came together beautifully, from a teary-eyed first look, to portraits in the city, and romantic book-themed details at their venue, Elkridge Furnace Inn! They wove many personalized touches into their decor. One of our favorite of these details were the three painted bricks. Each one was representative of Baltimore locations that were important to their relationship. Make sure you check them out; they’re so adorable! We love how Jessica and Shane’s day was based around their love of books, with favorites used in centerpieces and floral arrangements. It was really representative of them as a couple. After all, isn’t that what the perfect wedding day should be all about?
After photos with their bridal party around Harbor East, they made their way to Elkridge Furnace Inn for a beautiful and personal ceremony. They opted to write their own vows. They inserted tons of heart and some humor; we love when a couple can really be themselves during their vows! When it was time for the party, the dance floor was packed the whole night! Thank you to Marlayna Photography for sharing this beautiful literature themed wedding with us today.
