Courtney and Will met when Courtney was on temporary duty assignment in Ammam, Jordan. Will was permanently posted at the US Embassy in Amman and Courtney spent two weeks working in his office where the two became fast friends. As you can see, this later turned into a romantic relationship. Will proposed following a romantic dinner at the Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels, MD. Following dinner, the pair went for a late-evening walk along the water. Will picked the perfect spot for his very private and special Maryland proposal.
Although it rained quite a bit on their wedding day, the couple couldn’t be fazed. Even as the rain continued unabated through wedding party photos and bridal portraits, the two only had eyes for each other. It was as if it wasn’t even raining at all! At their reception, their gold and white color story featured pops of pink. We love how this paired perfectly with the atmosphere at the Bethesda Country Club! And you know we’re suckers for a good candy bar! Don’t miss this one. The couple then capped the night with a sparkler send off! Thank you to Susie and Becky Photography for sharing this beautiful Bethesda wedding with us today!
