DC War Memorial Picnic Wedding
May 19, 2017 Alex Hamilton

Today we wanted to highlight a beautiful wedding in which the bride and groom utilized an iconic DC monument. In case you missed yesterday’s post, it is possible to get married at a DC monument! We think this is a fantastic option if you are your future spouse are looking for a unique backdrop for your ceremony.

Kimmie and Nate celebrated their intimate DC wedding at the DC War Memorial. A friend of theirs officiated the ceremony, and they were surrounded by their closest friends and family, including their adorable son Keegan. Look at how handsome he looks in his little suit! Kimmie’s gorgeous pink and purple bouquet added the perfect pop of bright color against the white marble of the memorial. We love the pop-up feel of this affair; with a picnic and dancing under the rotunda, Kimmie and Nate had a casual yet elegant wedding that included all of their favorite people. We love this example of the perfect DC monument wedding! Thank you to Megan Rei Photography for sharing this DC War Memorial picnic wedding with us today!
