When speaking about their wedding theme, Christine and Dan say wanted to embrace “D&C in DC,” a fantastic play on their first names. We thought this was clever and were intrigued to find out how they would incorporate this wonderful city into their day. As neither the bride nor the groom’s families are from the idea, their DC nuptials turned into a destination wedding of sorts. Obviously, they wanted to show their loved ones their home, and we don’t think there is better venue for this than 101 Constitution, which hosts a stunning view of the Capitol building. We love the tented rooftop design that they dreamed up with their planning team at A. Dominick Events.
With a preppy yet classic vibe, complete with pops of navy and bright pink, these two celebrated in style on a stunning spring day. The end result was a wedding that felt like “them” with amazing food (people were talking about the corn soufflé and mini donuts for days), a great band, and some stunning photos. We are especially in love with the amazing floral design from Holly Chapple Flowers. From the wreaths on the church doors that later hung on the couple’s chairs to the amazing bridal bouquets and centerpieces, we couldn’t get enough of the fluffy, textured pink flowers. Also, don’t miss the amazing furniture selection that they had for guest to enjoy. How comfy does that little sitting area look? And with that view? We could sit there for days! Thank you to A. Dominick Events for sharing this “pretty in pink” wedding with us today!
