Frannie and Jack, originally from the DC area but now living in New York City, found a way to blend the best of their “hometowns” into one beautiful and very personal wedding. Bringing chic New York City vibes coupled with Old Hollywood glamour, their DC wedding reception at the iconic DC Georgetown Waterfront restaurant Sequoia, incorporated the best parts of their life together. Frannie’s dress, a flowing Tara Kelley gown, tied together all the elements of their wedding day. She added a bit of glamour and sparkle with her fabulous capelet that we cannot stop oohing and ahhing over. The bride also surprised her new hubby with a white Ralph Lauren sports jacket, which he wore for the reception. What a well dressed pair! We wouldn’t expect anything else from a DC turned NYC couple at a stunning Sequoia DC wedding!
With simple and refined details, nothing overshadowed the couple but rather reflected everything about them. Their mini taxi cab escort cards and table names based on favorite NYC restaurants tied in their love for their current city, while fun details like selfie sticks, late night Chick-fil-A and Krispy Kreme echoed the couple’s eclectic personalities. And don’t forget that custom McDonald’s cheeseburger groom’
