Lauren and Shaun were married in the spring at the iconic DC wedding venue Carnegie Institution for Science. The bride loved growing up surrounded by her family gardens and with such a special tie to flowers, she knew she wanted something unique and memorable for their wedding day. Creating an ombre color story in shades of purple, DC florist designer Highway 2 Hill delivered quite the impressive wildflower bouquet and reception centerpiece arrangements that we just swoon over! We really enjoyed the unique family photos seating chart and place card combo with individual name base plates on the tables scripted by Just Write Studios, which created a fun touch to the reception! The groom was honored with a soccer jersey groom’s cake by Fluffy Thoughts followed by a whiskey and cigar bar for late night treats. Thank you to Duhon Photography and Roberts & Co. Events for sharing this fun ombre wedding with us today!

Yes to all of this! The ombre purples with the gold accents mix beautifully. Lots of great photos!
