I don’t think you can find a more perfect backdrop for a patriotic inspired wedding ceremony than a four story tall American flag, as seen in today’s Maryland wedding by Evelyn Alas Photography. Samantha and Tim were married at the historic Star Spangled Banner House in the spring, and we loved the mix of modern pops of copper against the deep red hues of the bridal party. The couple first met while working together at Nordstrom and while their love took a little time to bloom, it was not long before Tim was proposing on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial to his lady love. The couple paired modern mixes of succulents, that the brides mother grew with copper terrariums, against the patriotic feel of the venue with red and blue linen accents. The groom even had a special whiskey bar for his guests at the end of the reception that was a huge hit. Thank you to Evelyn Alas Photography for sharing this fun spring Baltimore wedding ceremony and reception with us today!
