We have a special place in our hearts for couples say “I do” their ways and that’s exactly what today’s featured couple did right in the heart of Washington DC! Ashleigh and Brandon wed in an intimate Washington DC elopement ceremony outside on the roof of the iconic The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, where their close friends and family stood by to witness their special union. This beautiful couple planned a big wedding originally, but during their wedding planning process, came to the conclusion that an elopement was more fitting for them. So, with smiles all around and some amazing fashion on their wedding day, the pair exchanged vows at the Kennedy Center overlooking the Potomac River. They invested their time and resources into incredible photography with famous Washington DC monuments as the backdrop. These two lovebirds could not look more in love! No giant celebration, just everything they ever wanted instead! A special thanks to their wedding photographer, VNess Photography for sharing the stunning photos from Ashleigh and Brandon’s elopement in Washington DC with us!
From the bride about what they wanted for their day: Simple and us! We wanted something for our wedding that was small and intimate with only the closest people who meant the most to us. The priorities for our wedding were photography and a pretty wedding cake! After our wedding, when Brandon and I took a second and thought, “Wow, we got married!!!” was a special moment. We did have “Brandon and Ashleigh” M&M’s for the party favors for our wedding guests.
