Katie and Marcus had a festive springtime ceremony outdoors for their wedding in Maryland where friends and family gathered to watch this fun-loving couple tie the knot! Their wedding ceremony on the steps of an old stone estate house was picture perfect, mixing rustic details with their urban personal style. We can’t get enough of Katie’s bridal portraits on a swanky plush pink chaise in the middle of the lawn and the blue-toned bottoms of her heels for the “something blue!” (And, the groom, Marcus is looking pretty stylish himself!) From the calligraphy to the cake (Just wait until you see their wedding cake!), Katie and Marcus’ wedding was a truly personal affair with their family and friends pitching in, including a co-worker of the couple who married them. Their rustic wedding was mixed with just the right amount of organic elements and fashionable style, setting a great backdrop for some very special wedding vows. Special thanks to Michelle Van Tine Photography for sharing Katie and Marcus’ beautiful outdoor wedding photos with us.
From the bride: Both my husband and I are more visual and artsy, if you will, so from the beginning of our wedding it was all in the details. We got married at a beautiful home in Maryland with flowers blooming and greats views all the way around. We kept it clean and simple with hints of antique furniture, farmhouse tables, tons of alcohol, and a supper club and lounge-y feel.
Congratulations to Katie and Marcus! Thank you for sharing your gorgeous outdoors estate wedding ceremony with us! Stay tuned, up next we’re showing you their rustic tented wedding reception and dance party!
