Inspired by the modern art deco atmosphere of The Loft at 600 F in Chinatown in the lovely city we live in, Claire Duran Weddings and Events created absolutely gorgeous wedding elopement for us to enjoy! Eloping and smaller weddings are having their moment here in the Washington DC area for many reasons, including the fact that couples are living together longer before tying the knot and opting for shorter engagement periods. Creating a wedding that is truly “you” as a couple has translated into hyper small events and ultra personal and intimate wedding celebrations. Clarence Chan Photography captured this contemporary wedding elopement that is full of geometric elements and shades of blue with beautiful accents all in an industrial urban setting. Not wanting to sacrifice style, this couple opted for a small wedding ceremony with just an officiant and a violinist, and capped it off with a few splurges including a delicious meal and a stunning cake. As a special elopement bonus, stay with us tomorrow because we’ll have Claire back to give a few tips and great advice for those couples looking to elope in small wedding style in the Washington DC area. For now, enjoy the gorgeous inspiration….
