Now that you’ve had a chance to fall in love with Esther and Julius’ wedding in Virginia, it’s time to dive right into their gorgeous reception. This modern-inspired affair features an incredible view from Top of the Town and lush purple blooms, all of which have been captured by Pier23 Photography. And to top it all off, the bride (with the help of her amazing bridesmaids!) created all of the wedding stationery, too!
From Esther: We wanted a simple, classic wedding. I love grey, so I picked a color scheme that would be pretty but calm to match that. We settled on lavender and grey.
My bridesmaids and I handmade the program, place cards, and basically all stationery that day. This helped us keep consistent color and material, while also catering to both Korean and English-speaking guests.
Esther’s wedding planning advice for other DC-area couples:
Research is endless and you have a million options! It’s important to prioritize what really matters, then go after what you care about most. Sometimes you keep searching for something more perfect, and end up missing out on the fun and excitement of being engaged.
