If I could pick my favorite type of wedding, it would certainly be a classic wedding in Washington DC. Brooke and Will’s sophisticated soiree at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, captured by Freed Photography, is nothing short of elegant perfection. (Before you go on, make sure to check out their outdoor evening wedding ceremony first!) From the classic white wedding color palette to the grand floral centerpieces, it’s everything I love all wrapped up into one seriously gorgeous wedding!
From Brooke: To compliment the color palette, the flowers were very classic: white roses, dusty miller, silver brunei berries, touches of gray, green, and deep purple.
We are also big football fans, but our teams are rivals. Our cake topper were figurines of us, each holding our team’s flag.
Brooke’s wedding planning advice for other DC-area couples:
When it is all said and done, all you have left are the photographs and the video. Choose these vendors wisely, and provide them with lists of photos or video footage you want taken in advance. If you’re getting married in the District, going down to the monuments for pictures was an incredible experience for us which we highly recommend.
