Welcome back to the second half of Amanda and David’s winter wedding in Virginia. When Old Hollywood is paired with quintessential DC, you know there’s a whole lot of pretty coming your way! (Be sure to check out their elegant wedding ceremony, too!) From the monument inspired table names to the sparkly details, it’s an entire day of vintage-inspired glam planned by Ashlee Virginia Events. From Amanda: The Hotel Monaco was absolutely stunning with the indoor portico, and I loved all of the marble and photo opportunities the venue offered.
I really wanted the center pieces to stand out and the day-of signage. We had different sizes at different tables and the added touches of tall feathers to incorporate the Hollywood theme. I loved how the table numbers were different tourist sites around DC, too!
We had a surprise belly dancer. I am half Lebanese and my parents had a belly dancer at their wedding. My mom and I were the only ones who knew she was coming and it was great to see the excitement and amazement on the guest faces.
