This never ending winter means we are in serious need of a little summer sunshine, and today’s Maryland wedding is the key! Classic meets elegance in Jenna and Mike’s Jewish wedding ceremony captured by k. thompson photography. Weddings like their beauty, planned by Engaging Affairs, are pure perfection with the timeless style and awe-inspiring blooms!
From Jenna: Our priority in planning was to create a wedding that was welcoming, warm, and fun. Our color palette was light blue, lavender, rose and cream. The bridesmaids wore light blue and our table cloths were light blue with a soft overlay with leaves. The flowers incorporated the other colors. Our programs had the same purple and light blue branches that our invitations had.
One of our favorite moments of the day was sharing our vows. We kept them a secret from each other until the ceremony. Having personal vows made the ceremony feel like us. It was incredible to share with each other, in front of our closest friends and family, our love for each other and our promises for the future.
Thank you so much Jenna and Mike for sharing your wedding ceremony with us! Don’t forget to come back later this morning to see their reception. The following Washington DC area wedding professionals contributed to their wedding:
