Combining soft pinks and grays together with the urban and regal feel of the St. Regis, Michelle and David’s wedding was as romantic and timeless as it gets for a wedding in Washington DC! I just love the urban garden setting for their ceremony and Procopio Photography was there to capture every dramatic moment! And, of course since Michelle is a stationery designer their paper goods are just amazing. (How can you not love that aisle banner she created!) Don’t forget to come back later this morning for more from their reception.
From Michelle: We wanted our wedding to feel timeless and romantic. We tried to keep this in mind when deciding on a lot of aspects of the details for the day. We picked very soft colors…creams, white, soft pink, soft grey. We also used lanterns, floating candles, and rose petals to decorate both the ceremony and reception. We really wanted to ‘Wow’ our guests by finding a classic D.C. location to have our wedding. When we first walked in to the St. Regis we fell in love right away.
More from Michelle: The ceremony was so beautiful. Being outside in a “garden” in the middle of the city with friends and family all around us as we exchanged vows will always stand out as a special memory of the day.
