If you’re planning a Jewish wedding ceremony in the Washington DC area, chances are you may be saying your “I do’s” under a chuppah. While you may have an image of a traditional chuppah in mind, I’m here to show you that there are more than a few modern takes on the element, as well as some seriously inspiring classic ones. Even if you aren’t marrying within the Jewish faith, there’s no reason not to check out this inspiration! The basic structure and idea of a chuppah provides a great frame for your vows, and an excellent source of shade too, no matter what type of ceremony you’ll be having.
