President’s Day is just a few weeks away and we’re feeling might patriotic today with Rachael and Joe’s Washington DC wedding from Spence Photographics. To celebrate all that is DC, this duo chose a red white and blue palette but incorporated it in a sophisticated, understated way. They wanted a traditional Catholic wedding ceremony, a reception where they could let loose and the national monuments in the background for all of it! And, you guessed it! That’s just what they got!
From Rachael: Our vision was to have a classic, summer wedding – dancing, eating and laughing, while looking over the amazing landmarks of our nation’s capital, Washington, D.C.
My favorite memory was when the doors of the church opened and I saw my soon to be husband for the first time – he was crying!
