Oh, where should I start with this DC wedding!? The fantastic modern paper goods, the dynamic bouquets, or the beautiful, airy photography from Katie Stoops that captured it all? Kristen and Keith had a modern wedding, inspired by Mad Men and complemented with a bold color palette of red and purple. Their eyes were clearly on all the details because everything from the welcome bags to the getaway car was perfectly styled and, more importantly, reflective of them. Feast your eyes on part one of their wedding day, and come back later for the reception too!
From Kristen: Our wedding style started from an idea of Mad Men, kind of old-fashioned inspiration, but with modern touches. Our planners Kelly and Maria really helped me refine the style that I wanted so that it reflected me and my husband, Keith. The Clarendon Ballroom has an art deco feel to it, so we tried to incorporate some of that into the style of the wedding.
Keith and I are both half-Italian and were both raised Catholic, so we decided to get married at the Holy Rosary, which is a Catholic church that was established in the early 1900’s for the Italian-American community in DC. It was such a beautiful and small church for the ceremony.
