Best of 2011 Real Weddings: Most Romantic
December 26, 2011 Tabitha

This week we’re taking some time off to celebrate the holiday with our families and get some rest before coming back strong in 2012.  We’re revisiting some of our favorite content from 2011 including some of our favorite real weddings!  For this installment, I’ve picked some of our most romantic weddings in the greater Washington, DC area.

Emily + Carl’s modern metallic wedding from Michelle Lindsay Photography is as chic as it gets.  We fell in love with Emily’s bridal style (gorgeous dress! an armful of bracelets! beautiful side braid!), and couldn’t get over the gorgeous evening rooftop ceremony.  Utterly modern and absolutely stunning!

Molly + Evan’s wedding from Gabe Aceves Photography is proof that finding the right venue is essential in setting the tone for a wedding.  Tuxedos and candlelight complemented and enhanced the beauty of Antrim 1844’s historic grounds and architecture.

Beth + James’s wedding at the Corcoran Museum in downtown Washington, DC from My Simple Details was all about classic glamour, from Beth’s vintage wedding gown and red rose bouquet to the ceremony on a marble staircase to the art gallery reception.  Romantic and timeless.
