As promised, we’re back with more from Emily and Carl’s gorgeous and modern DC wedding from Michelle Lindsay Photography. (See part one of their wedding here.) After a beautiful evening rooftop ceremony, Emily and Carl took the party indoors for a reception that continued the modern and metallic elements to the centerpieces and wedding cake, with Kelly from Weddings for All Seasons there to make sure that all the details came together perfectly!
Emily collected mercury glass vases from vintage and antique stores over the months before the wedding. The vases were filled with white and pink roses and white dahlias for the reception. Emily combined the floral arrangements with mercury glass votives in various metallic colors for a complete modern reception centerpiece.
Emily and Carl gave out these adorable whoopie pies as wedding favors at the end of the evening!
