Hi there! Welcome to our new blog for Washington, DC area weddings! In case you don’t already know us, we’re Julianne and Nole (and if you’re curious, you can read more about us here). Before we jump into wedding coverage, we thought we would take a quick moment of your time to tell you about our goals for United With Love.

Our goal is to bring DC area couples a daily wedding blog full of fresh and unique ideas, inspiring photographs and planning guidance that represents the beauty and diversity of weddings in the region. We’ve both lived in Washington, DC for a number of years, and we’ve seen an incredible number of beautiful weddings take place in and around our Nation’s capital. Since we’re both former DC brides, we know that weddings and events in the Washington, DC area go beyond politics and a red, white, and blue color palette.
For the purposes of our blog, we define the Washington, DC area as anything from Baltimore, MD to Charlottesville, VA as far west at the Shenandoah mountains and as far east as Annapolis, MD and the Eastern Shore region.
There is so much love and talent around here and we want to bring it all to you! This means real wedding and engagement features from local couples, tips and advice from the professionals who make it happen, site tours of local venues, upcoming events and, of course, pretty pictures. We want to feature as much inspiration as you can handle!
In addition to inspiring you, we also want to be a resource for you. At the heart of United With Love is a vendor guide. The number of capable wedding vendors in the Washington, DC area is incredible. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive vendor guide that will be constantly updated and fine-tuned to serve as an organized and useful planning resource for local couples and help them to bring their wedding day ideas into reality.
Thank you so much for visiting and we hope you’ll take a few minutes to take a look around. Let us know what you think with a comment below or send us an e-mail!
