Today we have a vibrant and unique Mount Ida wedding to kick off another week of DC area wedding inspiration! Raeylnn and Finn’s love story first began at work, where they met and were hesitant to start an office romance. However, as time went on, it was clear how perfect they were and are with each other. As their relationship blossomed, it was undeniable these two were made for each other. Mount Ida offers an abundance of views, from the mountain scenery to the chandeliers in the Lodge, it was the perfect venue for the couple’s vision. The greenery and florals provided the romantic ambiance for the chic wedding reception. The use of sliced oranges and grapefruits provided fun pops of colors while giving a more modern and joyous feel. Raelynn + Finn consider themselves movie buffs and foodies. They incorporated their love of movies by having a popcorn bar for guest, in which guests could add their own toppings. Guests were also treated to reception late night snacks of ice cream sandwiches to cool off from the August heat.
