Brooke and Wayon’s fall Osprey’s at Belmont Bay wedding was a relaxed, romantic dream on the Virginia waterfront. The pair met while working in NYC and started their relationship as friends. After they began dating, Brooke made the cross-country move to Seattle to be with Wayon. They returned to Brooke’s home of Northern Virginia for their wedding celebration, and the day was filled with electric joy. There were so many laughs, hugs, and smiles from all of their close friends and family. The bride wanted her wedding to have a rustic elegance about it, and her details were overflowing with those vibes!
Geomyra Lewis Events worked with the bride to encapsulate the look she was going for with a palette of neutrals, dusty blush, champagne, and brown. Working with the couples floral team of Petal’s Edge, they pulled in a variety of textures through the florals. This technique highlighted the rustic vibes and created a fun mixture of florals, seed pods, and feathers. We really love when couples embrace unique textures in their floral design including feathers, moss, or wood. The muted tones paired against those textures made sure that the day did not feel too springy, but instead wove in fall textures! Their overall aesthetic paired perfectly with their Virginia wedding venue. A big thank you to Anna + Mateo for sharing their Osprey’s at Belmont Bay wedding with us today!
