Today’s handsome groom Mike has run everything from the 400 meter to 24 hour races; none more important than two very special races. The first was the first time he saw his future wife Jess; the second was when they actually met in person. They were never apart after that day. We are so glad that their paths “ran” across each other in those fateful races, as it later produced this beautiful garden Airlie Virginia wedding by Perfect Planning Events.

Their two dogs Eli and Emmett were adorable ring puppies (and later reception guests!), which we thought was so fun! Add that to the contemporary design elements against fluffy florals and we love every single thought out detail. Airlie is a gorgeous, Northern Virginia wedding venue and the couple used so many fantastic locations on property for portraits and the overall day. We heart the open air tent with long kings tables filled with white garden rose compotes from Twinbrook Floral Design and natural wood chiavari chairs.
