So now that we all know the new 2018 Pantone Color of the Year, what is the verdict? I personally wish it was something more rich in tone like a deep turquoise or slate. We are still interested to see how couples use Ultra Violet for their wedding design. Fittingly, today’s couple used the 2015 Color of the Year, Marsala, for their Baltimore Royal Sonesta Harbor Court wedding! Caroline and Zach met and fell in love on Federal Hill, and brought their closest friends and family back to Baltimore Maryland for their wedding weekend. We love the trend of personalized bridesmaids gifts; Caroline embraced this fun idea by gifting her bridesmaids customized champagne flutes as they got ready for the day.
The bride wore a stunning beaded Martina Liana dress from the Maryland bridal salon, Garnish Boutique, and the bridesmaids each had rich Marsala colored gowns of varied patterns. The tree-lined pathway next to the Maryland Science Center provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s first look. We love how these photos turned out! The wedding party, and Anna Schmidt Photography the moved done to the Harbor front for all of the bridal party and family portraits before the ceremony. This enabled everyone to grab a drink and let their hair down once Caroline and Zach tied the knot. Which we think is a great idea!
Congratulations to the newlyweds! Also, thank you to the talented Anna Schmidt for sharing a look into their Royal Sonesta Harbor Court wedding with us! Head back this week for even more beautiful Northern Virginia weddings including a contemporary meets Garden inspired day at Airlie Center!
