Hannah and Dan met at a friends wedding and years later things came full circle with their own special day. Their lavender and berry hued wedding took place at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Arlington Virginia on a perfect spring day. We really enjoyed Hannah’s color story of lavender with the vibrant pops of berry in the bridal party flowers. Spring wedding flowers are some of the very best for color vibrancy. Because of the plethora of blooms in season, you can really create any type of color palette imaginable!
The bride’s ethereal lace long sleeve wedding dress, was perfectly accented by her stylish take on the classic chignon hair style. The couple opted for a first look before their ceremony. This helped to take away some of the nerves and also created the perfect lighting for their romantic portraits. During the ceremony, Hannah and Dan lit a chalice from the bride’s childhood in a unique unity ceremony. Following their personal ceremony, the wedding guests noshed on small bites and danced the afternoon away to throwback tunes. Thank you to Olivia Jacob Photography for sharing a look into this Arlington Virginia wedding day. And best wishes to Hannah and Dan!
