Mark and Olivia were married just this past June in a blushingly sweet Bristow Manor wedding full of personal details and special mementos that carried rich meaning to the couple. Prior to the start of the ceremony, the couple exchanged a private “first touch” and wedding gifts. These tokens were hand chosen by each other and truly full of meaning.
As a fun gift, the bride got groom a calendar of their cat “Tootsie” which he loved, as well as an engraved watch that he could keep on him forever to commemorate their day together. Mark gifted his bride a bible with her married name; they had recently done a bible study together and she complained of having no space to write in margins in her bible, so he chose a journaling bible that had space for her notes. Remembering the little details resonated with the bride and made her gift even more special! The bride wore a gold necklace that once belonged to her grandmother before her passing; she also carried Mark’s great grandmother’s handkerchief as her something “borrowed.” We love the special touches throughout their day as it really makes it special for all.
